(It's a small updated but I like the colors on this Tron Hawt Girl enough to update this journal)

Hello Fellow Deviants,

For a while now I've been wanting to do a little feature on the character I've drawn the most for the past six or seven years now, HAWT GIRL!!!
I had better not waste any more time and get to it!

Her presence hasn't been seen too much around these here deviant parts but I've drawn her hundreds of times for my local comic shop here in Las Vegas, Comic Oasis [link]

Hawt Girl is the resident superheroine spokesmodel for Comic Oasis and it's been a very strange ride drawing her over the years.

I first drew her on a "Hot New Items" sign for the store and when someone asked who she was... well, without giving it much thought I quickly looked at the sign and lazily blurted out "Hawt Girl"
and the name stuck.

For the longest time I simply thought this was a character that I kept drawing for the store advertisements and such but the way we would speak of her around the shop implied that she was a real person, so much so that I swore I spotted a girl with stark white hair in the comic shop a couple of times just out the corner of my eye or ducking around the back issue tombs before I could get a good look.

More and more whenever I would be presented with a new Hawt Girl project the guys at the shop would speak of her as if they knew her and not as if it was just something I drew... and then after appearing again from one of my regular absences from the shop to join them at the Brendan Theaters at the Palms for the opening weekend of Watchmen to my astounding surprise a girl with stark white hair, a big smile on her face wearing a mask and cape came from around the concession stands to join us in the lobby... I swear I thought she was just something I drew for the shop all of these years, turns out she's real.

Anyway...
I've been lucky enough to collaborate on a few Hawt Girl pieces with some of my talented friends here on deviantArt as you can see from the pieces I've already posted as well as the line up here...

A few takes on my Tron Hawt Girl lines...

And some very talented artist and friends have also taken her on...

Tron looks good on her, I gotta say. So when're you gonna sell out and get her published with you as the lead artist? I'm looking forward to saying "I knew him when"
