I apparently drew this in my sleep.


I haven't been sleeping well lately.
Constantly tossing and turning, my dreams have been getting stranger and stranger.
After a odd night of dreams a couple of days ago I woke up to find my hands stained with ink and this picture lying next to me.

I dream of drawing and things I would like to draw or paint regularly but recently I've been having dreams of things I've drawn in the past
These three marker pieces in particular...
However in my recent dreams I haven't been illustrating them on paper but rather drawing them in the air of my dreamscape itself. I can hear the whisper of their voices as I draw though I never really see them speak... to be honest, I can only now tell who they were now that this marker piece has appeared.

The Sandman, The Corinthian, Merv Pumpkinhead, Goldie and a few other all seemed to have been present.

I guess I'm going to have to see if I can get in contact with Neil Gaiman to see if he's able to get his character to stop occasionally invading my dreams.

This is truly beautiful. You have really captured the essence of Dream in this work. I really love the character depictions of the Corinthian and Merv. I love it and I know any fan of the series would love it too. Which is why I would like to ask your permission if I could post this picture to The Sandman Graphic Novels fanpage on facebook. I will credit you.

Why would you want that? I'd love to meet any one of them in a dream!

The pitures are really lovely by the way. Very dream-spooky in the style of Sandman, I'm very much a fan! ^^ You're a wonderful sleep-artist!

You really nailed the "sunken eyes and cheeks" quality of his face.

Also, I enjoy that you included the Corinthian. He's probably one of my favorite characters...and the one that frightened me the most
