...as Hack the Vampire Slayer.
Here's the thing: if you remember, in Season 7 of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", Willow casted a spell so that more than one girl can be a Slayer. Cassie Hack is now one of those awakened Slayers. Her tendency to protect innocents from slashers was just her inner Slayer nature trying to break free. Giles travels to the U.S.A., finds her, and trains her so she can be a proper Slayer. Cassie has since given up fighting human slashers to fight vampires, demons and the forces of darkness.
