I had no idea who to put on this card other than Wolverine and then I looked down and the cover to Giant-Size X-Men #1 was staring at me.
Always liked that cover.

Actually, the BEGINNING was Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Angel and Marvel Girl, the REBIRTH brought in Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Thunderbird and Wolverine with Cyclops.

Marvel Beginnings" was just the title of the card set, there seemed to be no rule stipulating that we had to draw the origins or first iteration... much to the confusion of a few artists.

Oddly enough I did draw a group with the first class of X-Men
