I had to be really careful with Thanos and Nick Fury in the Ultimates bunch that I did for the Avengers set to make them very much the comic versions. There's about 4 in the set you see here that I had to pencil twice after realizing that I had drawn my version or had drifted too close to a movie influence.
For this series of cards, are you a bit limited to designing them according to canon?
There are rules to follow like avoiding the movie versions due to copyright issue, I've even seen comic covers that had to have been re-drawn because the artist went with the raised webbing on Spider-man that apparently Sony owns the rights to. Nothing lude or overly violent... they're all rules that are very agreeable and easy to follow but I'm sure some people out there might go in wanting to draw one particular thing and that thing will be on the list of things to not do.
I <3 you forever for remembering her. She gets conveniently replaced by young Rogue and Shadowcat far too often.
