Aaaawweeeesoooooommeee. Only way it could been kickassier was if you had Clayface mugging in the blank topright corner.
And is it just me, or does Riddler look strangely like he's dressed for vacation? I think it's the sunglasses and the shirt. I bet you if you could see his lower half, there'd be Bermuda shorts and flipflops.
Or maybe I just really wanna be on vacation. Shut up, Freud.
HA! I guess I get a bit of inspiration for The Riddler from the posers you see here in Vegas. I kind of see The Riddler as a villain that uses his obsessive insainity to his advantage as a gimmick and loves the fame and recognition that it brings... so if Ed Hardy made a shirt with Question Marks on it The Riddler would totally wear it.
Clayface... you're the second person to say Clayface. My version of him might be drastically different and would not be well received.
Edward Nigma, a publicity whore? Yeah. I can absolutely see it.
The second, eh? Damn the fool before me who apparently agrees with my opinion! (but not really damn them) I wanted to say it first.
And how is that, hmm? Haven't I seen you draw Clayface before? I can't recall... and will probably now have to troll through your gallery looking for him to be sure. And drastically different how? Clayface's design seems like it would be kind of difficult to tweak... now I really have to see if this supposedly ill-received version of him is in your gallery already somewhere... you have bitten me with the curiosity bug, curse you!
Well, I can tell you right now I've never posted a sketch of Clayface here.
I'm not so attached to Clayface that I would be opposed to drawing a traditional sketch of him but I do have a idea of what my version would be. It would be based more on the concept of the early apperances of Clayface in the comics, Boris Karloff and the face designs of Clayface from Justice by Alex Ross. Basically he wouldn't be a giant mud monster but would remain being a master of disguise.
Hey, I can respect a Clayface like that. It's another take, a cool re-reimagining, and it's not something super lame, either, which a lot of re-reimaginings are *cough*TheBatman*cough*. I, for one, would welcome any sketch, markers, colors, inkings or whathaveyou of any Clayface you wanted to do.
Consider that a less than subtle nudge, if you like.
I love this, but I always love your art. Will there be another for the girls, or any of the newer, minor villains (there's one from the "Batman: Brave and The Bold" called Music Meister, I really like him)?
