Felt like I needed a freakin' architects degree to draw Thor's movie armor that appears in the Avengers.
Then again, this is my first time drawing it.

I really just ended up winging most of this.
It's sort of a mix of the Thor movie and Avengers armor and the pose is referenced from a picture of the Hot Toys Thor figure.

I used to avoid things that were so neat and geometric, but I do alot of 'trade sketchs' (detailed plans for clothing and costumes) So now I'm no stranger to drawing armor and even robots, still can't draw buildings though.

Buildings are always difficult unless you're used to doing that kind of thing or go through considerable effort. Even some of the best comic artist shy away from buildings and cars.
